The software side of the HERD project consists of

  • Drivers (i.e. initialization, read device registers, set/read pins)
  • User API (i.e. drive DIR until CONDITION; receive/send command from/to other robot)

Compilation and programming

Usually

make

and

make program

should be the only needed commands.

If one wants to create a new program the easiest way is to copy src/app/example1 to a new directory in src/app. Afterwards everything in the new directory should work as explained above.
